At 1Cover, we value the wellbeing of our staff and customers. That’s why we’ve been participating in a range of activities to celebrate Wellbeing Week for 2019 (7th to 11th of October).
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
“Snooze” Monday
What a way to kick off Wellbeing week with a public holiday! This is all thanks to the movement in the mid-late 19th century which argued the need for each person to have eight hours labour, eight hours recreation and eight hours rest.
“Flexible” Tuesday
Our hard working managers took part in a workshop to discover what flexibility means at 1Cover and how staff can take advantage of more flexible working arrangements.
“Fitspo” Wednesday
We got some much needed fitness inspo from some of our more active colleagues - plus the launch of a new employee benefits program with access to discounted gym membership and classes.
“Beat the Blues” Thursday
As part of World Mental Health Day, an expert talk to staff about mindfulness and shared tips on how we can practice this every day.
“Feel Good Friday”
Staff were treated to a yogalates session (a mix of yoga and pilates) by our resident yogalates enthusiast.
